KB3050265 – Windows Update Patch (Improve WUA Scanner Performance)

This script installs a Windows Update patch that will fix the following errors with running patch scans.

Kaseya patch management – poor system performance during scans and failed patch scan results generate a 0x8007000E error.

KB3050265 is listed in patch policy under “Update (Optional – Software)”. However, because the patch scanning is affected we can’t be sure Kaseya (which leverages WUA) will recognize that the patch is needed. This agent procedure will deploy it.
